MY STORY
I’m an award-winning author and editor with 20+ years experience producing and polishing high-quality content on a variety of topics, such as personal finance, entrepreneurship, parenthood, health, fitness and more. I received an Advanced diploma in creative writing from Te Pūkenga (New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology) and my Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I’m represented by The Weis Agency, with my debut novel, Shaken, coming out in March, 2025 with Vine Leaves Press. My short-form prose has been honored as a Finalist for the Penelope Niven Creative Nonfiction Award, Honorable Mention in the New Millennium Writing Awards, and Third Place winner in the anthology America’s Next Author. Other publications include The Personal Story Publishing Project, Motherfigure, Life Savvy, Motley Fool, LendingTree and more.
I love helping other writers find their voice and get their works out there in the world for all to enjoy. For my coaching and mentorship services, I use an intuitive approach where I wholeheartedly listen to your goals, dreams, and vision before coming up with an action plan. Together, we can take your writing to new heights!
When I’m not teaching, writing, or coaching, I’m spending time with my physicist husband, chasing my fierce redheaded children, whipping up gluten-free and sugar-free treats, reading, performing circus tricks or dreaming about my next adventure.
